Management Dashboards
What You Really Wanted to Known about Dashboards....Before Someone Asks You to  be the Expert!

Today’s organizations have access to an ever growing depth of information.  Using that information in a meaningful way is often hard, almost impossible.  While new organizations, built from the ground up in the last few years, can more often get to key information, established companies often suffer from data in silos, legacy systems, multiple data sources, and outdated reporting tools.  Management frequently turns to the CFO to find the key data and put it together for management review. While this can be a daunting task for a single decision, the real issue is how to have such real-time data available in a form that management can use it for ongoing decisions.  The CFO and Finance department are often expected to be the experts in getting to this information.

During the meeting, Rick and Richard will provide an understanding of what can be done and show examples of different types of dashboard reporting.  The session will cover:

  • Basics about dashboards – what you need to know to start becoming the corporate expert
  • Key questions and consideration when starting a project to provide management with dashboard style reporting
  • Live examples of how different functions can work
  • Landmines to avoid
  • How to succeed with minimal IT involvement… and why this is critical to your project and you!
  • Issues about adoption by users

The meeting will be highly interactive, focusing on the areas of main interest to the group.  Bring your questions and areas of interest to improve the process of running departments, divisions and companies.
