Our regular meetings are generally in the morning on the first Tuesday of each month and typically feature a speaker presenting topical information on finance, the local economy, business strategy, career management, etc.
We also have periodic special event evening meetings, each featuring a high profile speaker or panel of speakers, and organized to be a delightful networking event for our members and special guests.

Topic: Software as a Service ("SaaS") in Payroll and HR Management
While one recent trend in corporate culture is taking employees from "good to great", the overarching issue remains how to achieve that while keeping the cost structure under control. One way to do it is using SaaS -- Software as a Service, in the process of managing payroll and other aspects of human resources. SaaS is a new concept utilized in various sectors and areas of business, but few grasp the impact it can have on companies using it, especially in human resources. Brad will speak with us about the concept of SaaS and specifically about its use in payroll and human resources.

How and I create efficiencies between HR and Payroll Department?

About Brad Flipse:
Brad has been in the Payroll / HR industry for more than 17 years. He started his career at Paychex. There, he developed a very successful career that led him to become Vice-President of Sales. In 2008 he took over Benetrac, a subsidiary of Paychex that focuses on online management of employee benefits. It was at Benetrac where Brad realized the tremendous potential of using online applications in payroll, fringe benefits, and other aspects of HR management.
Currently Brad is the Regional President for Paylocity, a company that provides low-cost, robust payroll and HR solutions, based out of Illinois. Brad focuses on the Southern California region. Brad is also the CEO of NetPay, which focuses on the niche market of small businesses and which helps companies that are usually under the radar of larger service providers get the adequate level of service the need.
