This will be an interactive session that will allow everyone to participate. Judy will share her insights and then answer questions from the audience. This format will allow everyone to truly make the most of the meeting.
Judy runs two monthly support groups: one for accounting and financial professionals called Accountants in Transition, which meets on the third Friday of each month, and the other for C-level executives called Executives in Transition, which meets on the first Friday of each month. These groups have been called "the best networking groups in the region for professionals in transition."

About Judy Thompson
Judy is President of the three companies which make up Thompson Search: Thompson Financial Search, Thompson Interim, and BrownThompson Executive Search. She has been interviewing and recruiting financial professionals for over 30 years in San Diego County. Thompson Financial Search specializes in recruiting accounting and financial professionals; Thompson Interim fills the growing market for interim financial and accounting professionals. BrownThompson Executive Search provides retained executive search with particular expertise in recruiting CFO talent. Judy and her firm are particularly known for their excellent service in "business matchmaking" leading to successful and long-lasting placements for their client companies and candidates.
Judy sits on the Boards of Torrey Pines Bank, Corporate Directors' Forum, and the School of Accountancy for San Diego State University. She is a past president of both Corporate Finance Council and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
Judy was recognized in 2008 as Most Admired CEO by the San Diego Business Journal and was a recipient of their Women Who Mean Business award in 2000. She has spoken for many organizations in San Diego over the past 30 years.
As a free service to the San Diego community, her firm has been e-publishing the San Diego Networking Events Newsletter, a bi-weekly email of comprehensive events going on in San Diego since 2000. It now has a distribution to over 5,200 recipients.
